If you have attended an Agile Fundamentals class delivered by any of the accredited trainers of Agile Academy, then you’re eligible to earn your ICP by following the simple procedure outlined in the announcement below.

The procedure is simple:

Provide a proof of attendance
Attend a one-day supplementary workshop
undergo a basic assessment about topics of the workshop

and you’re done!

Now! you can become an ICAgile Certified Professional

Agile Academy is glad to announce the opportunity for software professionals in Egypt to earn one of the most credible and internationally recognized certifications in Agile: ICAgile Certified Professional – ICP.Agile Academy recently has reached an agreement with ICAgile about the transition process for all the professionals who have attended Agile fundamentals training with our accredited instructors Amr Noaman or Mohamed Amr during the last 5 years in order for them to become eligible to earn the ICP credential.

ICP Transition Process

1. The attendees of the following courses are candidates for the ICP transition process:

SECC – Introduction to Agile Software Development (All rounds during 2010-2014 which were delivered either by Amr Noaman or Mohamed Amr)

2. A proof of attendance is required from each candidate (Any of the following is acceptable)

The course attendance certification can to be scanned and sent to certification@agileacademy.co with the subject “ICP Certification Candidate”
If the attendance certification is not available, then a confirmation letter of attendance can be requested from SECC. This letter to be sent to certification@agileacademy.co with the subject “ICP Certification Candidate”
If neither of the above 2 conditions are available, then the candidate can send to certification@agileacademy.co with the subject “Request Support to earn ICP certification through EPL assessment” and provide us with the information about the training round that he/she has attended

3. Each candidate will be required to attend a one-day supplementary session about the ICP certification. This session will cover specific topics related to the ICP learning objectives which were not covered in the previous agile trainings, like:

History and origins of Agile
Understanding and establishing the Agile mindset
Agile beyond software development
Adaptive planning and value-driven development

At the end of the supplmentary session, the attendees will undergo an assessment. Accordingly, candidates who pass the assessment will be granted the certification. Candidates who don’t pass the assessment will be advised to attend the 3-day ICAgile Certified Professional class offered by Agile Academy.

About ICP Certification
The ICAgile Certified Professional Certification is an entry-level certification that signals a practitioner’s intent to start the agile learning journey and become a professional in the Agile space.This certification is a prerequisite to all other ICAgile professional certifications.More about ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP)
